Our mission is to attract businesses and entrepreneurs with high values, determination and talent, and to help them realize their full potential.

We invest capital, facilities and other resources in return for equity and active involvement in those business.

The businesses we consider include:

Ideas stage - but yet to lay the first stone; and

Early stage - in the market and demonstrating traction. In some cases we consider later stage businesses where they, or the entrepreneurs, have particular outstanding characteristics.

On occasions where we're particularly impressed by an entrepreneur but less keen on their project we may seek to attract them into our business to drive another already identified project.

Sectors - right now we're particularly on the lookout for businesses with any of the following flavours:

• Environmental / green startups and early stage - we see environmental as a big growth sector, tapping into increasing consumer environmental consciousness
• Mobile startups and early stage - there are more mobile phones worldwide than computers, and we're increasingly interacting online via hand-held devices
• Location based and location aware services startups and early stage - the ability for applications to know where you are at any moment is allowing businesses to provide more local-based and personalised services which bring increased relevance to users
• Local and niche startups and early stage - we love verticalization, either by geography (local) or sector (niche); the more local or niche the better.  Hyper local or hyper niche hobbiest sites will get our attention
